Stephen has behind him a 25-year career in finance technology supporting insurance, investment and wealth management businesses at HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group. In 2016, Stephen set up the Financial Planning business which is now known as Gritstone Financial Planning Limited.
In 2020, Caitlan joined the business during the Covid-19 pandemic, followed shortly by Kieran, initially on day release and then full time on completion of his studies.
Initially based at home, the business relocated to Kelham Island, Sheffield in 2020, and then moved into purpose fitted offices in Park Hill, Sheffield in 2022.
